Hans Zimmer - Dream Is Collapsing
Sweet gig poster – and it’s for a leading new music ensemble! A recent concert I did with the Louisville Orchestra occasioned a custom silkscreen print of its own, and an upcoming performance in Iowa with Brandi Carlile and Pieta Brown will too. Orchestras: we should do more of this.

I completely agree with the last statement. Classical music is too snobby and unaccessible to most people.
Boy Meets World is one of those Rite of Passage shows. I grew up with it, and I really have a special spot for it. I think a lot of my generation does. I’m 19, watching this scene, and crying like a baby.
Over my first year of college, I’ve started really noticing how what I eat effects my mood day-to-day. I think this is a pretty excellent TED talk on how to fix that, and what a difference better food has on not just us as people, but on the environment as well.

Earth’s Diamond Ring
On February 10, 2009, the Japanese lunar explorer “KAGUYA” (or SELENE) successfully took moving images of the precise Earth rise moment when the Earth looked like a diamond ring using the onboard high definition camera.
The moment came when a penumbral lunar eclipse occurred and sunlight was covered by the Earth. During that time, since the view of the Sun from the KAGUYA was mostly covered by the Earth, the KAGUYA observed that the Earth looked like a diamond ring. This is the first time that this phenomenon was shot from the Moon.

Heard this for the first time last night on the Tonys. Out of the versions I’ve heard, Catherine Zeta Jones is my favorite, followed closely by Frank Sinatra. If I like someone singing over Sinatra, that’s pretty insane.
Send in the Clowns is a term used in theatre when things go horrible. ”Send in the Clowns, they’ll save the show,” or something to that effect. The excrement hits the air conditioning (thanks Vonnegut), and this song is the result.
